This 64.56 MW solar project in Bodroghalom, Hungary, utilizes the SkyLine II single-axis tracking system across over 1,700 trackers. The flat and stable terrain of the site, spanning more than 100 hectares, provided an ideal foundation for an efficient tracker installation, supporting bifacial modules to maximize energy capture.
Engineered for the local continental climate with snowy winters, the system features Arctech’s AI-2 smart tracking algorithm and a dedicated snow-shedding function. The trackers are mounted on concrete encased pier foundations to ensure stability in the site’s challenging soil conditions. Once operational, the plant is expected to generate approximately 96 million kWh of clean energy annually, offsetting around 34,400 tons of CO₂ emissions each year—equivalent to the carbon absorption of over one million trees—and supporting Hungary’s transition to sustainable energy.
