This 12.6 MW solar project in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, utilizes the SkyLine II single-axis tracking system across a flat 14.8 hectare site. Scheduled to commence operations in 2025, the plant is expected to generate approximately 25 million kWh of clean energy annually—powering over 8,300 households—and will reduce CO₂ emissions by an estimated 10,000 tons per year.

The trackers were installed on ramming pile foundations and feature enhanced wind-stow capabilities to suit the coastal Mediterranean climate. A key solution implemented was the AI-2 smart tracking algorithm operating without batteries—a specific client requirement—which dynamically optimizes energy capture while minimizing shading losses, ensuring reliable and efficient performance.
