Mexico Penasco 365MW SkyLine II Project

Located in a transition zone between rugged mountains, desert, and the ocean, this 5,000-acre solar project employs Arctech’s SkyLine II tracking solution to address complex challenges, including diverse terrain, extreme temperatures up to 52°C, high coastal corrosion, and sandy soil instability.

Designed to meet the electricity needs of 500,000 Mexican households, it is the largest solar project built by a state-owned Mexican utility, alleviating power shortages in Baja California and northern Mexico.
